Tool roll

We joked about putting his name on it, well, here it is.

Custom Directional Sign

Jesse displays a beautiful sign for the SF Randonneurs Brevet this past weekend.

S and S coupler bike bag

Sewing Tool Roll

The velcro closure and handle were inspired by a pro-tool bag I'm making for my friend Dave.
Heavy cotton duck body with 10oz top flap, just enough space to hold all of my sewing tools.

Leather trim

The natural leather trim on 18oz cotton duck.

Handlebar Bag in the works

A nice bit of cream colored thread on thick black leather.
In the works, single eyelet front envelope closure on a 3-D pocket, with leather and brass.

The mock-up, with side D-rings, flat side pockets, map case, velcro bottom with a stiffener sleeve, all in waterproof 24 oz cotton duck. I can no longer get this beautiful and heavy material, so this bag will be the last of it's kind.

Backpack

The inspiration for this piece was the traditional Japanese Randoseru bags.  The new owner requested 18oz tan cotton duck and a lot of leather. It turned out beautiful.

Black Randonneur Handlebar bag

This one has a nice little 3-D front pocket, two flat side pockets, map case and stiffener sleeves on the inside. It will have hook and loop closures in the front and rear. Four velcro straps on the bottom hold it down and there is a strap in the rear for the rear rack stop. Two of these were made, one is for sale. *update-the second bag has been sold.

Backpack

Cordura, 14oz cotton duck, kevlar wire for shape, and foam stiffeners. Hidden zipper closure, velcro main flap with 1 1/4" belting and snap closure. Carry handle and padded shoulder straps.

I'm working on a slightly modified version for a set of custom panniers, with perhaps a little more canvas and leather.

Address book

Two-tone dyed leather, brass snap closures, simple and beautiful.

Leather Mud flaps

Stitching the hearts using the Singer 29-2 machine.

Mounted on Gilles Berthoud 36mm fenders on a 1991 Bridgestone RB-1.

Tool Roll

Beautiful 22 oz cotton duck, leather trim and white stitching. Brass grommets and hook and loop closure.
I'd love to make a tool roll for a bike!

Burgundy shoulder carry bag

I love the colors and texture of the fabric on this. The hidden zipper was great. There is a stiffener on the bottom, so the bag sits by itself on the ground. On the inside is a sleeve for a Kleen Kantene, by request.
Very lightweight and practical.

Seat/Saddle bag

A nice little beautiful saddle wedge, nice black leather with white stitching, black cotton trim, and heavy 18oz cotton duck.

Black extra small randonneur handlebar bag

This was very difficult to make in this size and material. 22 oz cotton duck, waterproof map case, brass closures. Leather trim and attachment points to the rack. It is very waterproof and sturdy.
Although difficult to make, I like this size a lot.

Blue Randonneur Handlebar bag

Blue waterproof cordura, brown trim,  map case, velcro closure.

S and S travel bag

I've made three of these now.  Made for full sized bikes that come apart with S and S couplers or Ritchey break-away systems.
Heavy duty cordura, 1.5" nylon belting, D hooks for a carry strap and reinforced bottom and corners.
Dimensions are 26" x 26" x 10" with a full length zipper.
