Rivet Cycles Works leather saddle bag and natural leather saddle

I just stole these images from Deb, a very nice looking Rivet Saddle bag, also check out her Rivet saddle in natural finish.
Before you dye the leather, it sometimes has marks, cuts, and branding. Those are the marks you see on the finish. I like this finish a lot! Check out her website, hopefully she will have them and other goodies available soon. Rivet

Almost done.

Riding brevets and meeting fellow randonneurs/randonneusse

The last time Constance and I did a brevet together, we had on a ton of wool and rain gear, and we were still shivering.  She even  stood by, patiently freezing while I changed two flats in the rain. So when I saw this photo, I had to post it, it's just too awesome. Thanks Constance!

Portland to San Francisco

800 miles in 8 days, now back to sewing.

Trying not to freeze.

Big thanks to Chloe for being an awesome friend and riding partner. She didn't even hit me when I snored.
Portland to SF is done.
