Peak Cuisine, Tara Sylvestre

Tara is an old friend that I met in 1995 while mountain biking in Moab, Utah for three weeks. She is the head chef at the Purcell Mountain Lodge in the Canadian Rockies. Her book, Peak Cuisine was released last year and it is yummy. Check it out.

Christina Holvey: Paintings, Drawings, and Illustrations

11 years ago I met Christina and Amy in Hawaii, we raced up Mt. Haleakala to 10,000 feet, then raced around in circles trying make ourselves pass out from oxygen deprivation. Her first book was published last year and art is on exhibition in several UK galleries.  More here.
