Decaleur

There are a few different decaleur styles and makers.   Compass, Velo Orange, and Berthoud seem to be the most common choice.  All images are borrowed without permission.

Modified decaleur issues here.

Here are a few shots of my homemade decaleur. It's not worthy of the bag craftsmanship-wise but has been solid so far. It was inexpensive to build using aluminum flat stock and some hardware.

Very nice Oliver! Honestly, I don't know why more people don't do this. The flat aluminum stock is easy to get at the hardware store, you can also get steel and paint it.
But the end result is a decaleur system that actually fits. the two hooks allow you to close the bag, unlike most decaleur systems. I think of a design exactly like this every time my bag wiggles around.
