I'd hate for something like this to be stolen: how easy is it to remove from a front rack, and, is there a way carry his as a shoulder bag once off the bike?
Yup, I put D rings for a shoulder strap upon request. I usually leave my handlebar bag on my bike. It often has a lot of stuff in it, as I do my errands.
